princess bay mini session

The fickle Wellington weather can make for some scheduling fun at this time of year, but when everything falls into place, that winter light is so delicious! As were these darling little ladies - Those curls! That bob! Grandma even came along to be a part of the session. I love when the grandies get involved - it's so sweet to witness the bond that spans the generations. 

I'm still offering these 45 minute family sessions in Wellington - Every one I've done has been such a lovely little pocket of time, maybe this will be the start of a blog revival and I'll share some more! At Home With The (not so) Savages

I hope you're ready for a cuteness overdose?

These guys are pretty wonderful. I first met them here when Pippin was just a wee dot, and then I was lucky enough to be hired by their lovely brother and now sister-in-law to shoot their wedding (which I must get around to sharing soon!) 

This time around I got to stay and hang out with them on their amazing farm for a couple of days, where delicious little Fern has joined the fam! Speaking of delicious, mama Rachel is a crazy-good cook and baker, so I got fed all kinds of yummy treats. I'm campaigning for her to start up a blog or cookbook so I can steal all her recipes ;) Keep your eye out for this family, I think they'll do some pretty ace things.

lyall bay mega cuteness!

I had so many faves from this rad little family session I thought I should break my blogging hiatus to share a handful. They were just the cutest! How perfectly co-ordinated were they with those amazing garage doors?! (side note: I'm so lucky to have amazing clients that don't bat an eyelid at my wacky backdrop suggestions. thanks guys). Less jabbering, more pictures...
