the forest

we go on forest adventures often. we're so lucky that this one is pretty much in my back yard. usually I leave my camera at home, it can get in the way of exploring sometimes. but I'm glad I brought it with us this time. this girl is getting so grown up.

she took this one. I better watch my back!

he was there too, but he's been sticking to me like glue lately. which I'm cool with, it just makes it hard to get him in the shot!

Cute moccs from Minnetonka

confetti card!

After shooting these images the other day, boo and I had a fun idea for a mothers day card. We were supposed to make it together after school yesterday, but a playdate happened instead. so I made one that I will use for my own mum, and popped her picture in to share here. My mums will be photo-less, but I still think it's as cute. Boo will make her own after school today. I think the pictures explain it all, but if you have any questions, I will happily answer them if you leave it in the comments section!

We did these as mothers day cards, but I think they would be equally cute as bon anniversaire or congratulations cards

supplies used

-white cardstock -kids watercolours -gel pens -fabric -laser printed photo -confetti!!!

Hope all you wonderful mama's have a great mothers day this weekend xo

in the hood

before getting little brother from daycare we had a few minutes to run around my neighborhood (also dressed in a hood. ha.) while she simultaneously modeled and goofed off for the camera. all the crazy faces and move-busting is her doing. I love this child.

Incase enquiring minds want to know, those cute boots are from The Warehouse - this is not a sponsored post, I just thought I'd share the love because we both love them and she swears they are comfy. Definitely not for every day though, those babies are getting scuffed up FAST!
