chloe & matt - taupo, new zealand wedding

I first met Chloe when we were 6 or 7 years old. We went through primary school together, then took off on different paths into the grown up world. Whenever I'd bump into her it would be like no time had passed - she was still that warm, kind, bubbly Chloe of my school days. When she approached me about photographing her wedding, I knew it would be amazing. But I couldn't have imagined just how spectacular it turned out to be. At every turn were smiles that were just about bursting with joy and love for a couple who have clearly earned some beautiful friendships. The wedding rolled over three days on Matt's amazing family farm, and it was a true DIY spectacle - Guests stayed in the coolest make-shift campsite (check out the cloud heart over the tents, 100% real!), details were lovingly put together with the help of talented friends, and the ceremony was officiated by Chloe's proud Grandma and Matt's family minister. I could go on for days about how incredible it all was, but I'm better with pictures than words...

Congrats Chloe and Matt, you were made for each other x

nick and sarah

My first experience of a Greek wedding. A lovely mix of family and ceremony, then a cozy reception full of understated elegance, topped off with a perfect Autumn Wellington day. Sarah was the picture of grace, she reminded me of a modern day Audrey Hepburn (my favourite).

The reason for my trip to California was to be second shooter for the ever-talented Leah at the wedding of her cousin and his beautiful bride. They were the most lovely couple. Just about bursting at the seams from joy and excitement. I photographed the men getting ready, while Leah photographed the ladies, then we came together and shot from our different perspectives from the ceremony on.
