I am currently on a whirlwind trip to California to help my wonderful and talented friend Leah shoot a wedding, with the added bonus of a long overdue visit. Last night was the first time I've experienced a proper American Halloween! It's pretty low key back home, and as a kid we didn't do it at all, so it was fun to see all the excitement and costumes and fun little traditions like pumpkin carving and neighborhood get-togethers. the amount of loot they scored was INSANE. I don't think I've seen so much candy in my life!
