there is something mysterious about film, especially for someone like me, who learnt photography on a digital camera. when done right, the tones and colour can be out-of-this-world beautiful. I have a long way to go before I can claim to be "doing it right" but as steep as the learning curve is, it is interesting and exciting. luckily for me, my model for my first roll is as cute as they get, so even though I have a lot more practice to go, she makes the mistakes forgivable.
